How lucky am I that I got ONE day this week with no rain? Even more lucky am I that I had such a lovely couple to spend the afternoon with! Even though we dealt with ants in the picnic and earth worms crawling up Julie’s leg we had a great time. They were so in tune with each other, and kept each other laughing and smiling the whole time. Dan had to have been thinking he was the luckiest guy in the world because he got to kiss Julie for almost an entire hour! Congrats you two on your upcoming wedding!!! You make a beautiful couple!

I absolutely adore doing children sessions (they’re my true favorite actually!) but I’ve been sneaking in a few couple sessions here and there and every single time I say to myself after wards that couples are my favorites.
It’s so easy to direct them and capture the romance that they all so effortlessly exude! Ah, I love love. This couple was so great to work with. They were one of the models at a workshop I took and every single pose I put them in they totally nailed it, giving me exactly what I had in mind.
Children, you’re gonna have to up your game and turn that cuteness on extra high so the couples don’t take your spot in my heart!

I took these with Brooke Snow who has been teaching me so much about photography. This session was full of learning and laughter. From playing chicken in the road with the cars coming along to scorching our eyeballs from the bright, BRIGHT sun! They were game the entire time though. Plus, they were so at ease with each other that sometimes I didn’t even direct them into a pose and I’d get awesome pictures of Sara laughing at something Greg said or the way Greg looked at her with complete adoration! Loved them!
